As part of the American Celebration of Music in Great Britain tour, Trojan A Cappella Choir from Wyoming will be performing a series of free concerts in two of Edinburgh’s oldest churches.
- On 26 March 2024 enjoy an evening performance by Trojan A Cappella Choir at Greyfriars Kirk.
- On 27 March 2024, enjoy a lunchtime concert by Trojan A Cappella Choir at Canongate Kirk.
Founded in 1620, Greyfriars Kirk is located on Greyfriars Place in the heart of the city’s Old Town. If traveling to the church by public transport, Lothian Buses services 9, 23, 27, 35, 41 and 42 all stop close by. Blue badge holders can request parking by contacting the kirk office.
The venue has level access and toilet facilities for visitors with limited mobility.
Canongate Kirk lies close to the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile and was founded in 1688. It’s graveyard is the last resting place of many notable Edinburgh residents, including the poet Robert Fergusson (1750-1774), economist and philosopher Adam Smith (1723-1790).
Both concerts are free to attend and everyone is welcome..
