This winter, join The Real Mary King’s Close on Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile for a unique guided tour and workshop.
Take a step back to 17th century Edinburgh and discover more about the work of Dr Arnott. An Apothecary and resident of Mary King’s Close, his speciality was internal medicine, and his preferred method to examine his patients’ health was to analyse their urine’s colour, smell, and taste!
On this 1 hour guided tour and 30 minute sampling sensation workshop, guests will become one of Dr Arnott’s students. All your senses will be required as you examine patients’ samples and create your own, herbal remedy.
Audio guides are available for the guided tour but not the workshop. No under 5s are permitted.
