He’s famous for creating beautiful scenes of life in Scotland’s capital, and this summer, Mark (known locally as the Edinburgh Sketcher) will be hosting a series of sketching workshops at Lauriston Castle.
Lasting 2.5 hours, participants will explore the castle grounds to create ink and water colour drawings of the castle building and grounds.
The workshop will take place outdoors and involves walking throughout the grounds, so please dress appropriately. In the event of bad weather, the event will take place indoors.
This event is suitable for all levels of artistic ability, from beginners to those keen to learn more about speed sketching. A mount to house your finished sketches plus all materials needed on the day are included.
Children aged 8 years+ are very welcome, although children aged 8 to 15 years must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
