Running from 13 to 15 June 2025, Square Cinema brings 3 days of cinematic classics and family blockbusters to the picturesque surroundings of St Andrew Square Garden, all for free.
Whether you want to see a golden oldie, a cult title or family blockbuster, this festival has something for all ages and tastes. Family audiences are in for a treat with daytime screenings including Wicked, a Paddington double bill with Paddington 2 and Paddington In Peru, Inside Out 2, The Wild Robot and Moana 2. Later in the day, enjoy Hollywood blockbusters and cult classics including The Lost Boys, Chicago, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, Mrs Doubtfire, Twisters, and Gladiator 2 – all shown in a relaxed, picnic-style setting.

Pets are not allowed, but assistance dogs are welcome.
All movies are free to watch with no ticket required. Spaces will be available on a first come first serve basis. Audience members are welcome to bring picnics. No alcohol or glass may be brought into the event arena. On-site will also be a variety of food and drink vendors, including Heineken 0%, Dishoom, and Alandas.
Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 years+
