Featuring celebrity chefs, a range of delicious worldwide food and drink, and live music, Edinburgh Foodies Festival takes place in Inverleith Park from 01 to 03 August 2025.
Known as Gastro-Glastonbury, the three-day festival will include live cooking demonstrations from TV celebrities and chefs drawn from the ranks of MasterChef, Great British Bake Off and Great British Menu. While chart-topping music stars Luna, The Wanted 2.0, Symphonic Ibiza and Scouting for Girls will be entertaining guests with live music.
Cooking up a storm, The La Española Chefs Theatre will host an array of Michelin-starred and top local chefs. The Cook School will be sharing tips from top chefs, and new for 2025, there’s the chance to try exciting new flavours in The Tasting Theatre.

In The Cake and Desserts Theatre, patisserie chefs and star bakers will be whipping up showstoppers and offering tempting sweet treats. Younger family members can also get in on the action, with Prept Kids Cook School offering fun and creative classes.
The Drinks Theatre is the place to be for champagne, beer, cider, cocktail and wine-tasting masterclasses. Browse the latest food trends in the Shopping Village, and meet local producers in the Artisan Market.
Other features and attractions on this year’s programme include the BBQ Stage, silent disco and chilli eating competitions. Throughout the weekend, the music stage will present a summer soundtrack of chart-topping artists.
Both day and weekend tickets are available. Children under 6 years of age are admitted free of charge.
