The experiential flower show sensation – known as the ‘floral disrupters’ of the flower world will deliver another feast of fresh floral storytelling at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh between 31 May and 09 June 2024.
This year’s theme will celebrate Scotland’s remarkable art and the nation’s much-loved artists. The work of artist and playwright John Byrne will be celebrated, along with designer Alexander McQueen and singer Annie Lennox. 18th century portrait-painter, Allan Ramsay’s work of Prince Charles Edward Stuart will also be on display. Key works of what became known as the Glasgow Style take a fresh floral starring role, with Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Frances MacDonald MacNair.
Staged in a beautiful pavilion within the magnificent grounds of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, visitors to Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE will experience 15 incredible fresh floral mannequins inspired by these accomplished artists and artworks, with more exciting names to be revealed over the coming weeks, all created by Scotland’s most talented florists. Floral demonstrations and talks will also be available.
Accompanying the exhibition will be a series of additional events. Le Soir on 31 May or 01 June will offer an evening of entertainment with a live DJ and a floral-inspired drinks menu. There will be a Fleurs de Villes Tea Salon in Inverleith house, providing a delicious cream tea, or why not visit the Terrace Cafe to enjoy an afternoon tea on the lawn.
Further information and tickets for the exhibition and experiences are available now on Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE.
